Membership

What membership means

Friends of Perry Lakes is a community group, and membership is how you become part of it. A simple commitment — one that connects you with people who love this place, and puts resources directly into the work happening at the reserve.

Home /Membership/ What membership means

Membership funds the work happening at the reserve.

Members fund weeding and planting programs, make PlantFest possible, support citizen science monitoring, and keep education and social programs running year to year.

Beyond the funding, membership gives you access, a voice, and a genuine connection to what’s happening at Perry Lakes.

Lifelong locals. Young families. Retired scientists. Anyone who loves this place.

FoPL members are as varied as the reserve itself. Lifelong Floreat residents, young families discovering nature together, retired scientists, passionate bushwalkers, and people who simply love this corner of Perth and want to see it flourish.

What members share is a willingness to be part of something ongoing — and an appreciation that community-led conservation, done consistently and with good science behind it, genuinely works.
